This Invitation for Bid (IFB) from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive services for diesel, unleaded, and E85 fuel tanks across eight maintenance stations in Orange County. The scope of work includes annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and both routine and non-routine repairs. Bidders must possess a Class A General Engineering Contractor license or an equivalent ICC certificate, and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The contract period is estimated to begin on January 1, 2027, and expire on December 31, 2028. Routine services are expected during normal business hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday), while non-routine services may be required outside these hours and on State holidays.
