Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to collect, characterize, package, transport, and dispose of hazardous, non-hazardous, pharmaceutical, DEA-controlled, and universal waste. The work includes scheduled and out-of-cycle pickups; waste sampling and analysis; manifests and disposal documentation; containers and packaging supplies; initial staff training; spill-response support; annual waste-minimization reviews; and waste tracking and reporting. The contractor must maintain applicable licenses and permits and provide required technical certifications and supporting information. The solicitation requests a technical capability volume, a completed VA limitations-on-subcontracting certificate, at least three recent and relevant past-performance references, and a completed price schedule. The contract is firm-fixed-price, with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods; the Government may also extend services for up to six additional months under the extension clause. The opportunity is a total set-aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
