Description
The General Services Administration is conducting market research for a turnkey tenant improvement and renovation project in an existing, occupied facility. The approximately 30,464-square-foot project includes office, assembly, support, storage, locker, and mechanical/electrical spaces. Work encompasses demolition; architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, telecommunications, audiovisual, and security systems; equipment and furnishings; and integration of existing mechanical and electrical equipment. Work must comply with the applicable Public Buildings Service standards and military recruiting facility construction and security specifications, with coordination around active tenants and some utility outages performed after hours. This is a sources-sought and request-for-information notice, not a request for proposals. Interested firms are asked to complete a Google Form and separately submit a capability statement of no more than five single-sided pages in PDF. The statement must describe the firm's capability and three relevant projects completed within the past seven years as a prime contractor; each project must have had a construction cost of at least $4 million and include the customer, point of contact, period of performance, contract value, and work description. The estimated project value is $5 million to $10 million, and the anticipated contract duration is ten months.
