Description
The Charlestown Police Department is requesting sealed bids for seven fully equipped vehicles: five 2026 or 2027 Dodge Durango AWD pursuit-rated vehicles, one 2026 or 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD Crew Cab Short Bed police-package vehicle, and one 2026 or 2027 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 unmarked detective vehicle, or substantially similar alternatives meeting the stated specifications. The scope may include vehicle supply only, police-vehicle upfitting and installation only, or both. Upfitting includes emergency lighting, sirens, communications equipment, radar, cameras, computers, printers, gun racks, consoles, cargo systems, antennas, graphics, wiring, programming, testing, and related installation. Vendors may bid on one or more vehicle types, and the department may split vehicle purchases and upfitting among vendors. Proposals must separately itemize vehicle and upfit pricing, fees, warranty/support, qualifications, and estimated delivery, with completed vehicles delivered ready for inspection and deployment.
