Description
Mahas Construction, as construction manager for Lake Mountain School District, is requesting subcontractor bids for labor and materials to build a single-story, approximately 27,648-square-foot Type IIB support services building, along with other work specified in the contract documents. Materials and equipment must be delivered and installed according to the construction manager’s schedule. Substantial completion is required by June 30, 2027, and liquidated damages are $1,000 per day. Bids over $50,000 must include 5% bid security in the form of a bid bond payable to Mahas Construction. Bidders must complete the proposal form available in the specifications. A Contractor’s Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305) may be requested; failure to provide a statement satisfactory to the owner may result in rejection as non-responsive. The owner and construction manager reserve the right to accept or reject proposals or alternates and to waive bidding informalities.
