Description
American Fork City seeks a contractor to design, supply, deliver, and install a complete replacement dock system at its boat harbor. The scope includes dock sections, floats, framing, decking, gangways, handrails, hardware, accessories, anchoring connections, and shore access. Removal and legal disposal of the existing dock system is a bid alternate. The proposed system must accommodate an 8-foot water-level fluctuation, meet public-use load and accessibility requirements, withstand local winter conditions, and include specified warranties. If new or modified anchoring is proposed, plans must be stamped by a Utah-licensed professional engineer. Installation must be substantially complete by April 15, 2027. The proposal must include a cover letter, a signed RFP Agreement (Attachment B), a completed Price Proposal Form (Attachment D), a project team contact list, a technical proposal with product data sheets and a proposed layout drawing, and relevant experience, references, and a proposed schedule. The technical proposal is limited to 10 pages, excluding specified materials and attachments. The E-Verify Certification (Attachment C) is required at contract time, not with the proposal. Proposals are evaluated on price, technical approach and product quality, relevant experience, schedule, and warranty and service.
