Description
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks a complete automated vehicular entrance solution for its Pleasant Grove Office. The contractor will remove the existing gate, furnish and install a new automated gate and chain-link infill to close the entrance, and integrate the system with existing card/badge readers and the vehicle exit loop. The work also includes emergency responder access at the new gate and emergency-access retrofits at two existing gates, along with required electrical and control components, safety features, permitting, installation, testing, commissioning, and personnel training. The contractor must provide operations and maintenance documentation, commissioning and closeout records, and warranty coverage of at least one year or the standard manufacturer warranty, whichever is longer. The period of performance is 90 calendar days from award. The solicitation also specifies a firm-fixed-price contract and requires compliance with applicable gate-safety, building, fire, electrical, wind, and snow standards.
