Description
The City of Orem seeks a contractor to replace approximately 3,560 linear feet of 12-inch waterline, 6,300 linear feet of 8-inch waterline, and 600 linear feet of 6-inch waterline. Work also includes extending and connecting existing water services, installing new water services and fire hydrants, and associated valves, fittings, meters, and waterline loops. The project includes related utility and roadway work, including sewer lateral adjustments as needed, asphalt milling and paving, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk work, traffic control, construction surveying, utility restoration, and a stormwater pollution prevention plan. The contractor must complete construction by October 1, 2027. The bid requires a 5% bid bond; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price.
