Description
Henry County seeks a contractor to remove and properly dispose of the existing incinerator and furnish, deliver, assemble, install, configure, test, and commission a fully operational replacement. The unit will be used to dispose of animal carcasses and destroy condemned evidence and controlled substances. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related services, and ensure compliance with applicable environmental, safety, and other regulations. The scope also includes emissions testing and sampling, preparation for operation, one manufacturer-approved training session for county personnel, and a bi-annual maintenance plan included in the final cost. The solicitation requires a minimum one-year warranty on parts and labor and a two-year warranty against delaminating and peeling paint. A bid bond of at least 5% of the bid is required; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
