Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a contractor to provide labor, equipment, and related services to collect and dispose of refuse from two park locations. The scope includes scheduled and as-needed pickups, supplying and maintaining specified containers, preventing spills during hauling, and disposing of waste outside the park in accordance with applicable requirements. The contractor must meet applicable recycling and organic-waste diversion requirements, including a specified minimum 75% diversion rate for refuse collections, and provide diversion and collection reports when requested. The bid package also requires bid pricing for regular pickups, additional containers, and additional pickups. Insurance documentation is required after award, not with the bid.
