Description
The Atlantic County Utilities Authority seeks qualification statements from firms or project teams capable of financing, permitting, designing, constructing, operating, and maintaining a solid waste conversion facility at the Howard F. Haneman Environmental Park. The facility may process up to 1,000 tons per day of municipal solid waste and other eligible waste streams into energy or reusable resources under a service agreement of up to 25 years. Respondents must demonstrate technical, financial, and administrative capability, including experience developing and operating a municipal solid waste processing facility with a capacity of at least 100 tons per day and at least one year of satisfactory commercial operation. Respondents must also comply with New Jersey affirmative action requirements cited in the notice.
