Description
The Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting bids for construction of the Dragonfly Trail's River Road segment. The project includes approximately 5,026 linear feet of a 10-foot-wide concrete trail, a pedestrian bridge, landscape improvements, stormwater improvements, trail amenities, minor demolition and clearing, erosion control, grading, signage, and installation of an Urban MULTI Evo pedestrian, cyclist, and scooter counter. Portions of the work are located within state right-of-way, and the City of Columbus has obtained a Georgia Department of Transportation encroachment permit. A 10% disadvantaged business enterprise participation goal applies. The bid requires 5% bid security, and the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds after award. Addendum No. 1 states that there is no mandatory pre-bid meeting, requires acknowledgment of the addendum with the electronic response, and provides CAD and geotechnical files through a Dropbox link.
