Description
The Columbus Consolidated Government seeks a qualified firm to administer promotional procedures for its Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department on an as-needed basis. Work includes conducting job-task analyses; developing and administering written examinations; coordinating orientation; and providing performance-based assessment-center exercises, including oral presentations, role-playing, incident command, in-basket tasks, and situational judgment exercises. The vendor must provide assessors, coordinate their travel, attend and administer the written exams and assessment center, and return written and final scores within the specified turnaround times. The department will provide facilities, and the vendor must furnish 40 copies of its final recommendation. Candidate feedback reports are to be priced separately for candidates who request them. The initial contract term is five years, with an option to renew for an additional five years by mutual agreement. The solicitation requires two in-person orientation days and completion of each promotional process by December 31 of the applicable promotional year. The proposal must include a detailed cost proposal and the listed qualifications, service plan, client work history, affidavits, forms, insurance information, and business license documentation.
