Description
The University of California, Santa Barbara seeks a contractor to provide carpet and flooring repair, installation, replacement, and rehabilitation services for Housing, Dining & Auxiliary Enterprises facilities. Work will be authorized through negotiated job orders, priced using the contractor's competitively established adjustment factor applied to fixed unit rates. The contractor must provide the materials, equipment, and personnel needed to perform the work. This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a one-year base term and two one-year options. The total contract value is capped at $1.8 million, with a $50,000 minimum university commitment. Bidders must hold an active California C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor license and provide $25,000 bid security. Attendance at the in-person pre-bid conference is mandatory for prime bidders; only attendees may bid as primes. Contractors and listed subcontractors must meet applicable prevailing-wage and Department of Industrial Relations registration requirements.
