Description
The Cambridge Retirement Board is seeking proposals from qualified actuarial firms to provide full actuarial valuations of the Cambridge Retirement System, review whether system assets and contributions are sufficient to provide prescribed benefits under Massachusetts law, and develop an appropriate funding schedule. The consulting actuary must be an Enrolled Actuary, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, or an Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and must be qualified to perform actuarial valuations of public pension plans. The Board prefers vendors with at least three years of relevant experience. The retirement system has approximately $2.1 billion in assets under management and approximately 5,769 participants.
