Description
The Town of Cicero is soliciting bids for maintenance and restoration work at its parking structure. The project includes pressure washing, partial- and full-depth concrete floor repairs, beam, column, wall, haunch, tee stem, and tee flange repairs, expansion-joint replacement, crack and joint sealing, epoxy leveling, silane sealing, traffic-bearing membrane installation and recoating, drain work, tuckpointing, fire-extinguisher cabinet replacement, door and frame replacement, barrier-cable retensioning, shear- and chord-connector replacement, handrail reanchoring, traffic-marking painting, and cleaning and painting of connections. The contractor must field-verify existing conditions, obtain required permits, coordinate work with the occupied facility, maintain vehicle and pedestrian access, provide phasing and work-zone protection, furnish required shoring and bracing, remove construction debris, and coordinate work with the engineer and owner. The drawings identify estimated unit quantities for bidding, including approximately 3,400 square feet of full-depth floor repair, 1,100 square feet of full-depth cantilever repair, 75,500 square feet of silane sealer, 8,700 square feet of vehicular traffic-bearing membrane, and 3,920 linear feet of tee-to-tee joint sealant; actual quantities are to be verified in the field.
