Description
The County of Delaware is seeking a contractor to improve an 833-foot earth hiking trail, including widening and restoring 525 feet of existing trail and constructing 308 feet of new trail. Work includes a stone aggregate overlook, stone bench seating, seasonally wet trail crossings, stone steps, safety railing, a kiosk, interpretive and wayfinding signage, and closure of trails extending off the property. The contractor will also clear fallen and hazardous trees, seed and stabilize disturbed areas, and provide erosion control.
