Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires repair services for Freezer #10 serving Nutrition and Food Services at the West Haven VA Medical Center. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, disposal, and incidentals needed to restore the freezer, including cylinders, fittings, hangers, tubing, piping, insulation, IRP heat cable, and 240V electrical support. The work also includes startup and at least three consecutive calendar days of temperature trending. The contractor must coordinate with VA personnel, follow lockout/tagout and applicable safety requirements, obtain hot-work permits when necessary, and provide factory-certified technician documentation upon request. A final documentation report, permits, inspection reports, and a safety plan are required at the specified stages. The opportunity is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, and quotes will be evaluated using lowest price technically acceptable procedures. The quote package must include a technical capability statement of no more than three pages, an itemized price schedule, representations and certifications, SBA VetCert confirmation, and signed site-visit attendance confirmation.
