Description
White County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified employee benefits broker to strategically plan, design, market, negotiate, and administer its comprehensive employee benefits program for approximately 272 benefit-eligible employees. The scope includes annual renewals and carrier negotiations, claims and utilization analysis, contract and invoice auditing, plan recommendations, compliance support, COBRA administration, mandated reporting, employee communications, wellness-fair participation, and ongoing assistance with benefits and eligibility issues. The selected broker must provide an electronic, web-based platform for open enrollment, new-hire elections, and routine benefit changes; conduct enrollment and employee-support activities; provide dedicated benefits personnel; and supply an annual employee benefits handbook. Respondents must submit detailed qualifications, numbered questionnaire responses, staff resumes, public-sector references, licenses, business documentation, and any applicable financial proposal. Brokerage fees are expected to be paid by the selected insurance provider unless additional fees are proposed.
