Description
The Metropolitan Airport Authority of Rock Island County, Illinois, is seeking an experienced insurance brokerage firm to provide broker-of-record services and market and place the Authority’s liability, property, automobile, pollution, crime, cyber liability, public officials, and workers’ compensation coverage. The selected broker will evaluate existing policies and claims history, recommend coverage and risk-management improvements, obtain competitive carrier quotations, negotiate and audit policies and rates, provide certificates and endorsements, answer coverage and claims questions, and support loss control, safety, claims management, training, contract-risk review, premium allocation, and related reporting. The proposal must describe the firm’s organization, public-sector experience, proposed approach and technical plan, account team and resumes, corporate experience and references, authorized negotiator, and cost structure. The Authority requests a fixed annual fee for core broker-of-record services, detailed disclosure of commissions and other compensation, reimbursable expenses, and a sample standard agreement. The initial contract term is three years, with up to two additional one-year renewals by mutual written consent. Evidence of workers’ compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and errors and omissions insurance must be submitted with the proposal.
