Description
The School Board of Pasco County, Florida, is seeking a supplier to provide annual inspection, testing, and certification of laboratory fume hoods at schools throughout Pasco County. The awarded vendor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services; inspections must be performed by a Florida-registered engineer experienced in fume hoods and comply with the current NFPA 45 standards and AABC 3.12 or NEBB Section 7 measurement methods. Required work includes visual inspection, airflow measurement, alarm testing, face-velocity measurement, verification of inward airflow, and assessment of work-area conditions. Certified hoods must receive an identification sign or sticker containing specified inspection and performance information. The solicitation is for inspections only and excludes repairs. Pricing must be all-inclusive and submitted through the electronic bidding system on an all-or-none basis. The initial contract term is three years, with a possible mutually agreed renewal not exceeding the initial term and a possible extension of up to six months. Applicable licenses and proof of insurance must be submitted with the response, and personnel working on District property must satisfy the District's screening and registration requirements.
