Description
Hillsborough County is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified contractors to provide as-needed pumping, cleaning, transportation, and disposal of leachate from the Northwest County Transfer Station and South County Transfer Station. The scope also includes quarterly cleaning and pumping of leachate trenches and lift stations at the South County Transfer Station, transportation to Florida Department of Environmental Protection-permitted disposal sites outside Hillsborough County, tank-cleaning services, emergency response, and related documentation such as certificates of disposal and weight slips. The contractor must provide suitable tanker trucks, pumps, hoses, adapters, backup equipment, qualified personnel, and 24-hour emergency contact coverage. The estimated project value is $245,350, and the contract period is three years. Insurance is required, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, professional liability, cyber liability, and pollution liability. Bid, performance, and payment bonds are not required.
