Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks medical-grade gases and liquid nitrogen for its Tucson medical center, research service locations, and community-based outpatient clinics. The contractor must supply, fill, transport, handle, deliver, pick up, and store gases and cylinders; provide contractor-owned cylinders where specified; and support government-owned cylinders. The scope also includes cylinder rental, emergency deliveries, hydrostatic testing of government-owned cylinders, and loss-of-use pricing. Emergency service requires a response within two hours and delivery within four hours when ordered. Quantities are estimates, with no guaranteed minimum usage stated in the scope excerpt.
