Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires industrial/laboratory-grade compressed nitrogen and ultra-high-purity nitrogen, including cylinder rental or lease, refills or exchanges, and routine delivery and logistical support. The nitrogen will support sample preparation at a clinical research pharmacy biorepository; the statement of work specifies industrial-grade nitrogen of approximately 99% purity and UHP nitrogen above 99.999%. The schedule includes SZ 40 UHP and SZ 200 nitrogen cylinders, annual leasing, and related hazardous-material, transportation, production, and delivery charges. The contractor must maintain supply continuity and deliver during the facility’s stated weekday delivery hours. The solicitation requests a base year plus four option years. Quotes must include completed pricing, the signed solicitation form and subcontracting certification, and documentation supporting the stated medical-gas standards and FDA registration/current good manufacturing practice requirements.
