Description
The Army intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Haun Welding Supply, Inc. for uninterrupted delivery of 12 commercial industrial and liquid gas products, including argon, nitrogen, oxygen, and specialized shielding-gas mixtures. The requirement also includes recurring inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of five government-owned low-pressure cylinders, as well as safe off-site refilling, transportation, tracking, and return of those cylinders. The contractor must support the existing gas-delivery infrastructure and provide 24-hour emergency response capability. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive quotations. Other responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the stated delivery, infrastructure, cylinder-service, safety, and emergency-response requirements. The notice also requests company identification and contact details, socioeconomic status, relevant experience, and a proposed approach for uninterrupted service.
