Description
Macomb Community College is soliciting a service agreement for preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet-pipe sprinklers, CO2 and other clean-agent systems, kitchen-hood and special-hazard suppression systems, and portable fire extinguishers. Services must comply with NFPA 10, 12, 25, and 2001 and include annual and semi-annual inspections, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inspection reports, service records, and recommendations for corrective action. The contractor must provide qualified and certified technicians, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, scheduled maintenance, and emergency response within 24 hours of a call. The work covers multiple Macomb Community College campuses and facilities, with routine work generally scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The agreement is stated to run from November 2, 2026, through December 31, 2028. Proposals must include completed pricing for the listed inspection services and hourly rates, along with company history, experience, qualifications, personnel, licensing and certifications, approach to the scope of work, customer-service and emergency-response processes, and any intended subcontracting.
