Description
The United States Air Force is soliciting quotes for up to four new vertical storage carousels and the removal and disposal of up to five existing carousels. Each new unit must include manual hand-crank operation, a built-in work surface no higher than 39 inches, maximum dimensions of 132 inches high by 116 inches wide by 56 inches deep, up to 2,020 linear file inches of storage, no more than 20 letter-tray carriers, imbalance sensing, keypad controls, self-balancing operation, and automatic interior lighting. The government will provide the trays. The contractor must install the units using existing 110-volt outlets, ensure they fit and remain accessible without modifying the building floor, clean the work area and repair damage, and provide certified technicians, technical support responding within 24 hours, preventive maintenance every six months for the first two years, staff training, manuals, drawings, software documentation, and a minimum two-year warranty covering parts, labor, and software. Quotes must provide separate fully burdened pricing for carousel installation and existing-carousel removal and disposal, with the government reserving the right to make an all-or-none award.
