Description
Randolph Community College is seeking qualifications from a properly licensed firm to provide building and building-systems commissioning services for the renovation of an existing approximately 25,000-square-foot warehouse into the Applied Industrial Artificial Intelligence Center of North Carolina. The renovated facility will include classroom and laboratory space for artificial intelligence research and development, agribusiness, building trades, and customized training. The selected firm will collaborate with the design architect, general contractor, and college to provide design input, construction oversight, testing, and quality assurance from design development through construction and owner occupancy. The firm must ensure that the building and its systems are designed, installed, tested, and performing in accordance with the owner's project requirements, and must provide examples of relevant building construction and commissioning experience and hold applicable certifications. The total project budget is $9,895,000.
