Description
The City of High Point is soliciting bids from qualified commercial flooring contractors for turnkey flooring replacement at its Paratransit Operations Facility. The approximately 2,736-square-foot project includes removal and replacement of commercial flooring, demolition, concrete surface preparation and patching, moisture mitigation, self-leveling underlayment, new LVT flooring, wall base, and transition strips. The solicitation is an open bid opportunity with a pre-bid conference scheduled at the facility. The bid package includes bidder information, proposal and bid forms, addenda acknowledgment, subcontractor and federal compliance forms, and DBE bidders list information. The federally assisted construction project is subject to applicable FTA requirements and Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, including weekly certified payroll submissions. Performance and payment bonds are not required for this bid, although applicable law may require them after award.
