Description
The City of High Point is soliciting a qualified specialty contractor to provide comprehensive surface preparation and recoating services for the 1.8-million-gallon Final Clarifier #3 at the Westside Wastewater Treatment Plant. The clarifier is a hybrid structure consisting of a cast-in-place concrete basin and a welded steel mechanism with bolted connections. The work is based on a November 11, 2024 coating assessment and includes related miscellaneous work described in the contract documents and technical specifications. Contract documents and plans may be obtained from Duncan Parnell for a nonrefundable fee of $110 plus tax and shipping for printed sets or $80 plus tax for electronic downloads. A certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required with the proposal; separate 100% performance and payment bonds are required after award.
