Description
The City of High Point is soliciting sealed bids for the Bridges Preservation Project. The work includes furnishing labor, equipment, and materials to repair prestressed concrete cored slabs and bridge substructures using concrete, shotcrete, and epoxy resin injection; dispose of demolition and waste materials; seed and mulch disturbed grassed areas; and complete all related incidental work. The project covers three existing bridges: Bridge #400388 on Centennial Street over Norfolk Southern Railroad, Bridge #400390 on Wrenn Street, and Bridge #400392 on Hamilton Street. A separate performance bond and payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price, will be required after award. Contract documents and plans are available from Duncan Parnell for a nonrefundable fee of $190 plus tax and shipping.
