Description
The San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District is soliciting professional services for construction management and environmental monitoring for the Nacimiento Water Project Unit G Repair Project. The project is located outside Atascadero, California, and will realign approximately 5,200 linear feet of water pipeline outside the floodplain using open-trench and horizontal directional drilling methods to repair storm damage and mitigate future damage. The solicitation package includes Addendum 3, which adds Exhibit A, a geotechnical report, and confirms that revised proposals must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on October 27, 2026. The geotechnical report identifies groundwater, loose and flowing sands, gravel and cobbles, borehole instability, drilling-fluid loss, liquefaction, faulting, and shoring as significant construction considerations for the horizontal directional drilling and open-cut work. All other specifications and conditions remain unchanged.
