Description
The City seeks qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide on-call consulting for building and facility projects, associated site improvements, and planning studies. Work may include new construction, renovations, expansions, structural and seismic upgrades, building systems, accessibility improvements, historic preservation, demolition, sustainability, hazardous-materials abatement design, temporary facilities, and swing-space planning. Planning work may include master and campus plans, feasibility studies, facility assessments, programming, and capital improvement planning. The scope also includes project coordination and investigations; design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permit support; bidding and procurement assistance; and construction-phase services such as submittal reviews, field inspections, change-order support, and record drawings. The City anticipates awarding at least five contracts, with a combined estimated maximum of $2 million over a five-year initial term and a possible one-year extension. Work will be assigned through task orders, with no guaranteed minimum amount of work. The SOQ is limited to 35 pages, excluding required exhibits and signed addenda.
