Description
The Upper Canada District School Board seeks a pre-qualified architectural firm to provide design development, assist with contract documents and tender development, and provide construction and contract administration for a phased, multi-year school renovation. The work includes replacing six glycol rooftop units and the building automation system, replacing rooftop mechanical exhaust units, and improving grading and drainage at the kindergarten play area. Other planned work includes selected window and door replacements, barrier-free exterior doors and courtyard access, exterior masonry repairs, required life-safety devices, replacement of asbestos-containing vinyl tile in selected areas, and installation of a universal washroom. The project is to be phased to minimize disruption to building users.
