Description
The City of Spokane is soliciting bids for replacement of the refrigeration equipment serving two stand-alone evidence-storage refrigeration systems at the Police Property Facility. The contractor must provide and install two complete systems, including condensers, controls, and evaporators, or approved equals; maintain the cooler continuously at 35–37 degrees Fahrenheit; provide automatic system alternation and failover; enable remote monitoring; and perform testing and commissioning. The scope includes labor, materials, equipment, piping, fittings, permits, permit drawings, decommissioning, demolition, and proper disposal of the existing components. Bidders must submit technical specification sheets for the proposed equipment. Work must be performed one refrigeration system at a time so the other remains operational. The project is federally funded and subject to applicable prevailing-wage, labor, security, licensing, insurance, and public-works requirements. On-site personnel must undergo fingerprinting, background checks, and criminal-justice security training before unescorted access.
