Description
The City of Spokane is soliciting unit pricing for as-needed off-site rebuilding of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders using OEM parts. The listed equipment includes cylinders manufactured by Bimba, Lehigh, Kone, Rexroth, and Vickers, with estimated annual quantities ranging from one to 15 units per cylinder type. The scope includes labor, transportation, parts, consumables, and related costs necessary to rebuild the cylinders, with additional unlisted cylinder rebuilds potentially ordered during the contract term. The resulting contract is a not-to-exceed, unit-priced agreement with an explicitly stated period from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, and up to three additional one-year renewal periods, for a total contract period not to exceed five years. The estimated contract ceiling is $200,000. The vendor must provide labor rates by cylinder type, a parts markup percentage, re-chroming costs, and any other applicable costs. Transportation for pickup and delivery is the vendor's responsibility. Required insurance includes workers' compensation and employers' liability, general liability, and automobile liability coverage.
