Description
The City seeks organizations to design and deliver summer 2027 park and recreation programming for youth, seniors, and families, including community outreach, participant recruitment, program operations, registration, evaluation surveys, and participation in three anticipated family events. Proposals should describe the program schedule, locations, target participants, marketing plan, management approach, staff experience, resumes, and proposed budget. Programming should include plans for both in-person and fully remote activities, and vendors should expect to support community engagement, City Council presentations, site visits, and program reporting. The City anticipates funding of up to $20,000 per organization, subject to City Council funding approval. Applicants must submit proof of insurance with their application; the solicitation specifies general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and abuse and molestation coverage requirements, with certain exemptions possible where applicable. The proposal is limited to seven pages and must be at least four pages, excluding specified materials. The selected vendor must provide at least 50% of services through its own employees.
