Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks temporary access to a gym facility for its Gerofit supervised exercise program while renovations are delayed at its existing space. The facility must provide 2,000–3,000 square feet of enclosed or separated multipurpose space three times per week for classes of 20–25 people, with reliable Wi-Fi for livestreaming. It must also provide program participants access to workout facilities and equipment, including cardio machines, strength machines, free weights, and a stretching area, as well as on-site storage for program equipment and supplies. The facility must be within a 15-minute drive of the Edward P. Boland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The performance work statement specifies a six-month base period with an additional six-month option and a November 15, 2026 start date. The posting is a special notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis, not a solicitation; interested parties may submit information, but the contracting officer retains discretion to compete the requirement.
