Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, is soliciting a single firm-fixed-price construction contract for repairs to the Corning and Holt 10 Levees. The contractor must furnish all equipment, labor, operators, supervision, quality control, supplies, materials, and incidentals required for the work. Potential work includes earthwork; importing and hauling fill and borrow material; haul-road development; debris clearing; erosion and rutting repairs; levee surfacing; stone surfacing and armored protection; installation and rehabilitation of drainage structures and associated apertures; and turf establishment on compromised landside, riverside, and crown levee sections. The procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside, and a site visit is planned. The estimated project magnitude is $250,000 to $500,000.
