Description
The City of Parkville is seeking a contractor to improve the existing pedestrian and multi-use trail system at Platte Landing Park. The work includes removing portions of the existing asphalt trail, boardwalk, and other improvements; constructing a new concrete multi-use trail generally 10 feet wide with transitions to 6 feet; connecting to existing sidewalks, trails, parking areas, and the pedestrian bridge; and completing associated grading, drainage, culvert, crosswalk, ADA accessibility, and site restoration work. The project also includes modifying the park parking area with concrete pavement, 28 standard spaces, 10 ADA spaces, pavement markings, signage, accessible routes, and connections to S. Main Street. Additional work includes storm drainage, a rain garden, water and utility improvements, erosion and sediment control, tree protection and selective removal, landscaping, planting, and restoration of disturbed areas. The project is subject to Missouri prevailing-wage requirements and requires bid, performance, and payment security as specified in the bidding documents.
