Platte County is seeking a consulting engineering firm to provide supplemental design services for the Brush Creek Trail, a two-mile bicycle and pedestrian corridor between Hampton Road and NW 76th Street. The work centers on approximately three pedestrian trail bridges over Brush Creek and may include additional drainage structures, streambank restoration, and related permitting. The scope includes project management; topographical, hydraulic, and hydrologic surveys and analyses; bridge type, location, structural, and hydraulic design; FEMA no-rise and floodplain documentation; geotechnical coordination; type, size, and location drawings; construction drawings, quantities, technical specifications, cost estimates, and PS&E submissions. Limited construction-phase support includes bidding assistance, shop-drawing review, environmental permit assistance, and inspection of pile-driving activities. The approximate overall construction cost is $6 million, and the DBE goal is 0%. Responses must include a letter of interest and a Statement of Qualifications, with the letter limited to six pages and the SOQ limited to ten pages.
