Description
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain qualified attorneys to perform title work, real estate closings, draft real estate instruments and other documents, issue title insurance policies on behalf of a licensed title insurance company, and perform other real property related services. The KDFWR intends to select multiple attorneys to place on contract and use as needed. Attorneys must be authorized agents of a title insurance company authorized to do business in Kentucky. The contract term is anticipated from July 20, 2026 through June 30, 2028, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods. Compensation for title work will be on a fixed fee per project basis, while other legal services will be at rates established by the Legislative Government Contract Review Committee (not to exceed $125/hour for partners, $100/hour for associates, and $125/hour for appellate cases with a $20,000 cap per case without prior approval).
