Description
The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (KBLPC) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for legal services. The selected contractor will provide one designated attorney to attend all KBLPC meetings, draft legal documents, advise on regulatory and administrative matters, and represent the board in administrative hearings and civil actions. The attorney must be licensed in Kentucky and have experience in administrative and professional regulatory law, preferably with state licensing boards. The contract is anticipated to run from August 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028, with possible two-year renewals. Payment is hourly: up to $125/hour for the designated attorney and up to $35/hour for paralegal/administrative support.
