Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, on behalf of the Division of Capitol City Airport, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for one helicopter tug. The tug must meet the following minimum requirements: lift capacity of 6,000 lbs, ability to handle B206 and B206L aircraft, compatibility with aircraft equipped with lower WSPS/nose-mounted sight, 24V system, chargeable battery, hydraulic pump (2500 PSI), all-wheel drive, and up to 12 cycles without recharging. The tug must also have movable handle/controls so the operator can see the tail and either side of the aircraft while maneuvering. Delivery is required to Capitol City Airport in Frankfort, Kentucky. The contract is a one-time purchase. Award will be based on best value, with price weighted at 95 points and delivery time at 5 points. Only online bids will be accepted via the Kentucky Vendor Self Service (VSS) system.
