Description
The Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet, Division of Waste Management, is issuing a Request for Proposals for a Tire Derived Fuel Consultant. The consultant will assist with the administration of the scrap tire management program, including developing markets for waste tire derived products, coordinating Crumb Rubber and Rubber Modified Asphalt Grants, assisting with waste tire collection events, and serving as a subject matter expert. The contract term is anticipated from August 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with an option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods. The consultant must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in tire-derived fuel programs and extensive knowledge of TDF technologies and regulations.
