Description
CityBus, the Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation, seeks one or more qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services on an as-needed basis through individual task orders. Services may include facility and site planning, feasibility studies, architectural and multidisciplinary engineering design, environmental documentation, permitting, cost estimating, grant support, ADA and code compliance, transit facility and infrastructure improvements, alternative-fuel and electric-vehicle infrastructure, and construction administration. The selected consultant will support CityBus’s ongoing capital and operational needs, including transit facilities, maintenance and operations facilities, passenger amenities, transit centers, bus shelters, vehicle storage, fleet-support infrastructure, and facility modernization. Proposers should demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant experience, including public-agency or transit work, FTA-funded projects, ADA requirements, multidisciplinary team management, and responsive on-call services. The contract has an initial one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options, and there is no guaranteed minimum or maximum task-order volume. Pricing is excluded from the Statement of Qualifications and will be requested from the highest-ranked firm during negotiations.
