Description
The City seeks snow removal and ice treatment at designated properties, including residential properties, parks and recreation sites, the Senior Center, Animal Control, and recycling facilities. Work includes clearing sidewalks, walkways, entrances, steps, ramps, driveways, parking lots, and other specified areas, and applying ice melt as needed. Snow removal generally follows the end of snowfall, with a one-inch accumulation trigger and a maximum 24-hour response period; the Senior Center has a separate trigger. Services include regular, conditional, weekend-only, and will-call locations. Pricing is requested per location per cleaning, with separate hourly pricing for authorized additional services and a per-bag price for ice melt used for hourly work. Subcontracting is permitted, and the awarded vendor remains responsible for performance.
