Description
The City of La Center is soliciting a lump-sum bid to pressure-wash and treat a barn, chicken coop, and tool shed. The barn must be treated inside and outside with Bora-Care according to the manufacturer's specifications, while the chicken coop and tool shed must be pressure-washed before deconstruction activities. The contractor must disassemble the structures, salvage and band materials by size, stack them in a designated on-site area, use available roofing material to cover the salvaged materials, dispose of unwanted debris, and level, mulch, and seed the site for erosion control. The bid must include mobilization, pressure washing, Bora-Care product and application labor, disassembly and stacking labor, the project bond, and tax. This is a prevailing-wage project, and the work must be completed by April 30, 2027.
