Description
The Township of North Huron is seeking a contractor to grind approximately 3,000 cubic meters of stockpiled wood materials at the North Huron Landfill. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supervision, fuel, tools, permits, insurance, and other resources required for the work. The scope includes mobilization and demobilization; grinding, loading, screening, and support equipment operation; processing the material into consistent wood chips; removing metal, oversized material, and other unsuitable contaminants where practical; maintaining safe work areas; stockpiling the processed material as directed; and cleaning the site. The estimated quantity may be adjusted based on actual conditions, with payment based on the submitted unit rate and confirmed quantity.
