Description
Pierce County is posting a procurement exemption notice for professional services to design, configure, and test updates to its customized Visual Vault software solution. The system supports client authorization and demographic records, billing workflows, and reporting, including data exchanges and reporting requirements associated with state funding agencies. The updates are needed to address new data requirements and program growth. The County estimates an initial 12-month term and a cost of $60,000. It may extend the contract for a total term of up to five years. Visual Vault is the intended vendor, and the County cites its proprietary system access and the solution’s extensive customization as the basis for the exemption. Other entities may submit a capability statement demonstrating that they meet the stated requirements; if a submission demonstrates capability, the County will cancel the notice and proceed with a competitive procurement. The capability statement must identify the submitting entity and primary contact, explain how the entity meets the County’s need, and directly address the minimum requirements.
